Declaration and Constitution

Our beloved motherland is a bloody town plagued by two hundred years of colonial rule-exploitation-depredation. Through the continuous struggle and resistance of the brave people of this township, the people of our land have developed into fighters and rights conscious people. The conspiracies to suppress the peaceful, liberal and industrial Bengali nation are going on endlessly. The conspirators have tried to keep the non-communal Bengali nation under the shell of a religion-based state. Religion is a matter of personal belief and practice – which is the right of the individual. But the Bengali nation has witnessed endless oppression in the name of religion; Pakistani invasion forces and their local allies have killed 300,000 people in Bangladesh in the name of religion and brutally oppressed 400,000 women. Through 24 years of continuous movement, struggle, rebellion, resistance struggle and finally the great liberation war of 1971, Bengali has established a language-based non-communal state by breaking the state structure based on religion.

We are the rightful inheritance of that glorious heritage of the nation. 1971 liberation war is the best achievement of the Bengali nation in a thousand years. The conspiracies inside and outside against the non-communal state that we were able to establish under the leadership of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the architect of the great liberation war of Bangladesh, are going on endlessly. That conspiracy of the reactionaries continues even today. The conspiracy to confuse and divide the new generation by washing away the non-sectarian national heritage and distorting the history of national independence has not stopped. Attempts are being made to divide the nation with new strategies. Nastami’s game continues. Many silent spectators in this game today! Many people thought that the war of liberation is over, so their responsibility is over. But the inevitable truth is: the immortal spirit of the liberation war does not perish, the war of national liberation has no end either.

That is, we clearly think that whoever has faith in Bangladesh’s freedom-sovereignty, who has loyalty to the motto of the liberation war and who is faithful to the struggle of the people of this continent for a thousand years of Bengali, his spirit never dies. His battle never ends. Yatri of seventy-one was born out of this commitment and commitment. 1971 Yatri Bengali history, new journey of tradition.
